Houston, Texas (August 29, 2024) – ANCO Insurance proudly announces the retirement of Nick Schrader, Senior Vice President in the Business Insurance division, effective August 30, 2024. With a career that spans more than 40 years, Nick’s dedication to providing strategic insurance solutions has helped protect countless businesses, leaving a lasting impact on the industry and the clients he has served.
Nick’s journey in the insurance industry began after earning his Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University in 1979. During his time at Sam Houston, Nick developed a strong foundation in finance, statistics, and accounting—subjects that would later become crucial in his career. Over the years, Nick guided countless clients through complex insurance landscapes and eventually joined ANCO Insurance in 1997. Quickly establishing himself as a leader, his background in national accounts gave him the expertise to handle all types of alternate risk funding, traditional insurance, and risk management.

Throughout his career, Nick has also been committed to giving back to the community. He has served as a Committeeman for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and has held various roles in The Rotary Club of Katy. Nick’s dedication to both his profession and his community reflects the values that have defined his career.
Nick’s contributions to ANCO Insurance were celebrated at a special retirement event on August 29, 2024. Colleagues gathered to express their gratitude for his years of service and wish him the best in his retirement.
