Position Summary:
The Commercial Insurance Account Manager will provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients, producers and company personnel, while offering a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding and servicing our commercial accounts. The Commercial Insurance Account Manager must have a thorough understanding of commercial insurance policies & coverage. The book of business is both new and renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling service requests and answering incoming calls
- Review and work open activities and email correspondence daily
- Handling endorsement/change requests
- Maintain and work claims, billings and certificates
- Helping clients with cancellation notices
- Handle any coverage inquiries by the customer
- Regularly report on the status of your accounts, renewal cycle and tasks
- Produce certificates of insurance
- Generate referrals when possible
- Review and assist with audits
- Return any disputed audits back to the carrier
- Attach detailed correspondence in EPIC
- Regular and timely attendance is an essential job requirement
Qualifications:
- Texas Property & Casualty Insurance license
- At least 4+ years of commercial lines experience
- Applied EPIC operating system experience a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and time-management skills
- Excellent insurance knowledge, customer service and computer skills
